FAQS about commissions
-
Do you accept commissions?Do You Accept Commissions? I take on commissions when a project truly sparks my creativity. If your idea aligns with my artistic style and excites my imagination, I’d love to hear about it! Feel free to reach out with your concept—if it’s the right fit, we can bring your vision to life together. One of my favorite painting commissions to date is pictured below, hanging in the client’s home. This piece was a true collaboration: the client discovered a half-finished painting on my Instagram and reached out. We worked together to complete it in a way that stayed true to my style while incorporating meaningful elements for their family. Hidden within the artwork are personal touches designed to bring joy to each family member—ballet shoes for their daughter, a favorite soft toy for their son, nods to their family business, and souvenirs from their travels. If you have an idea that inspires a similar creative journey, let’s talk! Companies have also hired my capacity as Chief Doodler at Sketchnotes UK to create bespoke digital art. Clients have used my digital artwork for a variety of purposes including: - Posters for their offices - Bespoke zoom backgrounds - Illustrations for exhibition stands - Illustrations for reports, websites and presentations. Below are a few of the digital illustrations I have created for a number of clients including Nationwide Building Society, March Foods and Paramount Pictures.

Can you create digital art?Yes! I create digital art using Procreate, bringing my signature style to the digital medium. Whether for personal commissions, branding, or editorial work, I love exploring the possibilities digital art offers. I’ve had the pleasure of working with clients such as Meta, Nationwide, and the Scottish Government, creating everything from custom illustrations to unique design elements. If you’re interested in a digital piece, feel free to reach out—I’d love to hear your ideas! Below are some images from an exhibition stand that I designed and illustrated for March Foods to use at the London Coffee Festival in 2024.

How much do your murals cost? This depends on the size of the wall/canvas and whether you’d like me to include other people in the process (I am always happy to have people of all ages and abilities paint with me). Prices for hand-painted murals start from £1,200 for a wall that is pre-primed and will not require any ladder work. Alternatively, I can create the digital artwork for a mural that you can have printed and installed yourself. This is a less time consuming process and therefore prices for my design work start at £750 depending on the size and complexity of the design.

What paint do you use for your murals? The type of paint I use depends on where the mural will be and how long you’d like it to last. For indoor murals, I use a combination of emulsion and acrylic paint. If you want the mural to last for several years, I can also apply a light varnish for added protection. For outdoor murals, I use durable, weatherproof stone masonry paint for long-lasting results. If the mural is designed to be permanent, this paint should retain its color for around 10 years. My preferred choice is Rustoleum Garden Paint due to its durability and wide range of colors. The mural shown below was created entirely with this paint and continues to hold up beautifully in a junior school playground, despite constant interaction from children and footballs being kicked against it on a daily basis.#
